THANKS!!! My 93 Del Sol has had the EXACT same problems........Described to a T!! I replaced all of the electrical stuff. Plugs, cap, wires, rotor.....all of it and nothing fixed it. Alternator is next!

 

it was none of the aboave yet was it? ill tell you or you tell me when the alternator gets swiched if it fixes anything im gonna get it tested here in a couple days

 

i would go with that. if that passes the test, look into the distributor as a last resort

 

Mine tested fine.......But found that the 2 wires going to my battery on the + side were rotting inside and out.....Replaced them......Runs a bit better but still acts goofy. I changed the cap, rotor, plugs, wires.......Everything.

Could it be bad injectors or a bad O2 scensor? I'm running out of ideas here.
