i'm thinking they use the city lights instead of the parking. so if you are parked somewhere you can have the city lights on so you aren't having you lights on all the way, but hte lights let others know you are there... that's the only reason i can see why the courtesy lights come on instead of the corners when you switch to the parking light position.

i really don't think japan is so illuminated you can drive around with just city lights.
actually i asiandoood's story is true cuz well i read it
also my sis went to tokyo and a few other populated cities and said no one really turned on their lights

You should try traveling to asia sometime. I've been there, and I've seen it. You wouldnt believe what advertising on the streets/roads do to major cities at night. In japan, Hong Kong, etc etc....there are very few parking spaces to be showing off the city lights....it wouldnt serve a purpose for just being parking lights like we have here in the wide open roads and ridiculous amounts of parking on the streets of a local U.S. city.

Car's looking good man. I like the color and kit, I want to paint my hatch that same color but with no kit or maybe something different. I think a c/f hood would look nice on there too.

Also how did you make those custom brackets for the tweeters?

One thing I dislike on your car is the rims....not much of a fan of 5 spokes, they look kinda small on your car.

the stock bracket on the tweeter pod had to be cut off, then i screw on a metal strip, plumbers tape and put a metal clip at the end and bend the strip accordingly so that it can match up with my stock mountin hole, if im confusin let me know ill take a pic and show u wat i mean. otherwise the tweeters fit perfectly its just u have to find a way of mountin it.

i love the rims, they're 15inches and im all about performance. runnin on 205's, the rides if comfy. im thinkin of powdercoatin them either black or bronze next month.

and yeah im gonna get a cf hood too, cuz it would look so sweet.

thanks.
