i put a red strut bar and a yellow intake manifold in my car and got a solid 15 ponies on the dyno :loco:

Exhauset 450ish.

I've seen home made turbos built on 800$ and last. He needs to just save his money until he gets a good nack for perfomance adding.

Get a ebay special intake with a K&N air filter.........$70

Get a OBX header that comes with a lifetime warrenty.........$150

Some nice exhuast around.........$200-400

Making you car a little quicker.........Priceless

I did the whole spend 500$ on I/H/E thing last year, and kinda wanted to kick my self in the ass. I got an AEN intake, DC header, and Tsudo catback, and sure it was LITTLE quicker. But not quick enough for 600$. Also he's probably going to do what I and like 70%of HAN did. Spend the 600$ on I/H/E then 6 months you're dying for F/I.

Well those are more essential mods, like if you turbo, you will need a good exhuast so you will need to do it anyways

What size motor do you have?

I would say, a B series motor, with low miles.
Or Boost it with some good engine management.
