Default cv axle

ok heres the deal i bought a 1992 civic cx hatch


the guy told me it would need a new axle if i lowered it anymore with the coilovers that were on it when i bought it...he said as long as i didnt lower it anymore the axle would be fine....a week later (today) the axle clicks really bad it click when i back up and when i turn right...i wanna know if i have to replace one axle and how do i know which one and whats it goin to cost me? if i take it to a shop what should i expect to pay and if i do it myself what the parts goin to cost?

$75-200 depending if DIY or what shop you go to. my friend recently took his to Les Schwab tire center and they did it for like $180.. i did mine myself several times for ~$75..

it was alot lower but the guy that had it b4 me raised it he said bc it scraped everythign...its still scrapes everything its pretty low!
