Default Need help with tires for Civic

I have to change my tires pretty soon for my 92' Civic sedan (stock 175/70/13). Local firestone dealer asking for too much even for the no name brand. So I did soem research and as "upgrade plus 1" I fixed my on Fujinon HRi 185/60/14 from tire rack (40 bucks each). I am wondering if I can fit them in my OEM wheels or I have to buy another set of new wheels?
Thanks in advance.

Just go to your local Walmart and get the tire that is one grade above the cheapest they sell. I've done this no probs and am very satisfied. I used to get great deals on Uni-Royal TigerPaws from Costco too. I had no problems with Uni-royal.

Local tire shops (Firestone, Green+Ross, etc) will always be more expensive and yet their basic tire will always cost more.

In fact, I drive on snow tires year-round. They're of course nice in the snow and great in torrential downpours. Mileage though suffers a bit and makes more road noise.

After you get new tires on, it's a good idea to get your wheels aligned to make sure they wear properly.

Good luck.
