Ok,
If you dont want to lean out your motor, here is what you do.

Get 2 1/2 inch piping from the headers to the cat.

From the car get a 2inch Y with 1inch tips coming off the Y pipe. Meening use a reductor to get it from 2 inch main to 1inch pipe.

Then get 1 inch piping to your 2 mufflers.

Then just cut a hole out for your new mufflers.

Any other way will hurt your engine, even more because its a DX.

black widow back is very typical for a dual exhaust. you should look into it.

the piping would cost about $70 if you just go for the axleback y-split and not the entire catback (since you're not looking for performance) and you can just go with two universal mufflers for like $90-120 each.

and yes, performance has done nothing. if i were going to go for performance i would have gotten a Mustang GT, Z28, WRX for the price of my car ($25,900).

ok NOT bashing but as far as looks go here is the response i offer, you will be confronted by ANYONE with any car knowledge whith statements like "nice car what is it some kind of 6 cyl?" "wow what kinda work you got on there to need duel exhaust" "wow look a 4 cyl econobox with duel exhaust.. how rediculous"

it will be a truly umiliating expieriance.. loook im NOT knocking the show scene.. or personaly insulting you for your choice.. im just saying.. think about what the hell you are doing for a second.. AND MAYBE you will realize how silly it is...

:stupid: Not to bash you or anything, but getting that on your car will bring you MUCH more abuse than praise. As he said, anyone with any knowledge of cars, whether they are domestic or import guys will pretty much laugh at that set up. It seems like a waste of money, but its your car, and if you wanna do it, have fun. As someone else said, if you're doing it for pure looks, just buy a second dummy muffler and don't even hook it up...then you won't hurt performance (except for the extra weight).
