not much if its clean...but getting just one part that is attached to soemthing else is going to be hard... they electrically charge the element and throw coloured **** at it...prep work is the expensive part, the other hard part is finding someone to do it. Generally I just call harley dealers around here and ask, cuz harley riders have **** anodized a lot.

i learned to do it myself and spoke with my physics teacher about it and he informs me it could easily go HORRIBLY wrong, (dealing with batteries and acids and things), so he recommend i not do it myself.

Wheel Choice had a set of Type-X's in silver, but they wanted 1100 w/o tires. That's a little too steep for my blood. The most I'd probably pay for them is 500 w/o tires. h:

 

Wheelchoice is cool...but they want too much for everything. If they dont get what they want...they throw it on eBay to get more.


Im with you on the prices.... $400-500 is the highest I go for used old rims

You should see my other autocross friends they have been dating for two years. They have 7 cars and one motorcycle. They also have 24 wheels w/tires!!! The whole wall is one big tire/wheel stack

 

When you say 24, do you mean 24 different sets, or 6 different sets of wheels? Anywho, that's still a lot.
