Default Engine Swap

i am looking into swapping my 99 honda civic ex for a B16A engine. what would be the best bet 1st or 2nd generation engines. I also have a automatic tranny would it be difficult to convert to manual. and what is the difference between cable tranny and hydrualic tranny.

it would be easier to drop in a B16a2 or 2nd gen because its an obd2 and since ur car is an obd2 it would jus make things a hella of alot easier.. im not sure bout the auto to manual but i heard its a b***h to do.. im not sure bout the difference of cable and hydrylic clutch but i heard thats cable clutch is easier to adjust than hydraulic...

Find a Manual shell, sell your car, buy the shell and the B16, and then do the swap...

Its not really worth converting a auto shell into a manual, you will end up with more things to go wrong. And trust me, even if you have a pro do it, you will still have things go wrong..

Its better to start with a Manual Shell than an auto..
