Default Odd rattle?

For the last maybe two weeks there's been a slight rattle comming from the engine bay. I checked my compression and it's all good, no coolant in oil, or oil leaks, or coolant leaks, or tranny leaks, and I'm keeping the same perfomance as before the rattle, it's not huge, just only happens in the 1-2k rpm area when I'm like pulling out of a parking spot. I'm assuming it's a lose something somewhere. If everything still checks out ok should I be worrying my ass off? I just decided to post now after not being able to figure out and even emissions didn't say anything about it. What should I look for? I thought it was the washer on my stablizer bar but it wasn't. So I'm thinkin it's maybe the heat shield?

Edit~ Also, there is no smoke comming out of my exhaust and engine is always at normal operating temp.

Well, I just figured out it's on the drivers side. I can't really tell exactly where though because my car is on the ground. I guess I'll try to figure it out next week when I do the suspension.

depends on what it sounds like. Hard to diagnose over the internet in a message board because SO many things can come loose and rattle.

Glad you found it. An o2 sensor giving false informatin can cause your engine life to decrease.
