Default Turbo stuff...

Alright yall I am starting to piece together my turbo....so far I've decided on an HKS SSQ BOV, tial 38mm wastegate, johnny race car intercooler, spoolin performance tubular manifold, charge piping from mainstream.(good shop near me)......friend just suggested a t3/t4 .60 trim turbo....alarm system i am having installed comes with a turbo timer...i need suggestions on stuff like what size/kind of injectors, a good fuel system management, etc. If I haven't named it, i want suggestions on it. Thanks!

Joe

what kind of budget are you on? if you tryin to keep costs low use uberdata, ive been researching it for about 2 weeks and have already learned a lot. it seems pretty easy to use. i would use 450cc dsms for injectors. go to stealthmodeperformance.com for oil line kits and hose couplers. they also have charge pipe kits for cheap, but it seems you already have that. how you gonna get a downpipe? you might wanna take that into consideration. o and if you are gonna use uber i would get a wideband o2 sensor.

^^yup yup and yep. dsm 450's and uber are a very popular combination.(im running them right now) you can self tune(through datalogging, wideband and egt's among other) or take it and have it dyno tuned.

yah if you can afford it i'd go with tuner toy's injectors cuz they fit right in and are new but if your on a budget the 450's are really cheap. and i've got an awesome writeup on the wiring. using it, it took me like 30-40 mins to wire them up.

you might wanna choose a different manifold, spoolin performance sounds like a ebay item.

have you ever heard the HKS SSQ BOV? it sounds NASTY lol its a high pitch whistle that id imagine would get very annoying very quickly. Consider the Greddy Type S or RS for a nice "whoosh" sound or if your looking to save some money the 1g DSM bov is a great choice.

Performance geared guys buy blow off valves for the functionality first and sound second. The HKS doesn't leak at idle like the Greddy one does, so the idle is much smoother and at the right fuel ratio.

And to tell you the truth, the Greddy Type-S sounds like a bird under my hood at vacuum/low boost shifts. h:
