Performance geared guys buy blow off valves for the functionality first and sound second. The HKS doesn't leak at idle like the Greddy one does, so the idle is much smoother and at the right fuel ratio.
And to tell you the truth, the Greddy Type-S sounds like a bird under my hood at vacuum/low boost shifts.
