Default She's Dead Jim....

Some of you know how crapy my car has been running lately...today we looked into the problem. I had some skilled professionals help me:

so we pulled the head....

at least the head gasket wasnt bad....

Plan for now:
Rebuild Head, New forged pistons, new performance cam, Eagle Rods, balanced crank, Port and polished head..... The works. Then Boost @ 12psi.

Yucky.

You definitely need a full coolant flush and you need to get those combustion chambers and valves cleaned up.

May I ask why you were using the calvalier/sunbird Haynes manual?

I think the haynes manual pic is a joke. Pretty funny if it's not. I can't tell from the pic, are the valves burned?
