Ok, tonight i put on my short ram intake. And after i put it in, i realized i missed something in the process of making it. I don't have any idea how to mount it to the engine bay. How did anyone else mount it? I figure the ones you buy from companies came with a mount on it.

When looking at intakes on ebay, a lot have three holes on the pipe, close to where it attaches to the TB. I am assuming one is for the breather hose, and one is for the sensor, but what is the third one for? My stock intake only had two things coming off of it.

Also, is it supposed to be this damn loud? I read everyone say that it'll get louder. But when the Vtec kicks in, it's almost ridiculous!

 

cap off the extra port it means nothing.

 

Well an SRI is going to be louder then a CAI, but when I had my SRI, it wasn't too bad.
