are all model years and trim level del sol housing the same b16? or b16a2?

 

no those del sols are pretty hard to find, and the engine code is B16a3. Most of them come with SOHC engines

 

del sol s - d15xx - civic DX motor. 1.5 sohc non vtec - 106hp
del sol si - d16z6/y8 civic ex/si motor. 1.6 sohc vtec - 125-127hp
del sol si vtec - b16a3 1.6 dohc vtec - 160hp

i think they only made the si vtec model in 96 and 97 but im not positive.
