Anyone know if the 99-00 Si Front bumper can be put onto a 97 DX coupe? I want my car to look more sporty while still being OEM stock.

 

99-00 bumber is a bit different than the 96-98, if you want to put a 99-00 bumper on a 96-98, you'll need the 99 headlights, fenders and hood

 

you will also need to notch the radiator support if you are not going to get the 99-00 rad. support. if i remember correctly, the notches are needed for the 99-00 headlights clearance.

 

i remember when i first got my car i had wanted to do a 99-00 front end swap on my car but it just turned out to be too much of an overhauling. at first i thought it was only the bumper and headlights when i found out about the hood and fenders i nixed the idea. i would just get a front lip of somekind. it definatly gives a sportier look without looking stupid.

 

SiR front bumper > 99-00 front end.

 

Ya. I think Im gonna go with the Black Grillecraft front lower grill and a type-R upper grill with the Type-R front lip. Sound good?

 

sounds good if u get a 96-98 spec type R lip and not one of those generic replica 99/00 si/type r lips made to fit older body styles. 96-98 CTR frontend owns the 99/00 one.
