Yeah, I can say a good seventy-five percent of the people who complain about failing frankenstein swaps are just idiots when they build it. With that swap there are quite a few more different variables that must be taken into consideration (such as oil supply)

And no, it will never get near OE reliability, but damnit a good builder can get close.

 

Totally agreed. Some guys are awesome builders, while others will make the motor worse than with the p75 head lol

 

well im saving up for a new engine, going to give my d 15 the old heave ho, i was just looking at some options... my goal is to go all motor and i was just trying to find some setups that would be good i heard the b20vtec was a good setup.

 

b20 is a GREAT setup for N/A, however as we all said in the earlier posts, you need to make sure that you are using a reliable engine builder and youneed to make sure he is using the correct precautions that are needed in building a frankenstein motor.

i say h22 cause i just drove one today on a 3000lb civic, mine only weighs in at 1700 and I got access already after a fast phonecall for a wrecked pre shmeel for 500$.
