Default Which Engine

Ok.....so my car now is an automatic. I have never been taught properly on how to drive a 5-speed but have been practicing on a few friends cars so I'm still learning. I am saving for a new engine to drop in my EJ1. When I swap engines, I will more than likely be keeping it automatic (no flaming) til i get to where I can drive a 5 speed real well. I was looking at either the b16a or the b18c1 but didn't know if I could get either with an auto. tranny. Figured yall would know if anybody so.....?

learn. It's not worth the time and headache to swap auto... you'd have a harder time trying to learn how to swap an auto, than you would trying to learn how to drive a stick

you can always swap an b18b with the auto tranny or if you have the funds and patience, track down a jdm b18c with an auto tranny. its acutally quite common in japan to have b18c and b16as with auto trannys. but ima go against this and say do a auto-5spd conversion. from my point of view, its easy and well worth it if you gonna do a swap.

you can learn to drive a 5spd in a couple days. After you do learn you'll be wishing you had one. If you have a friend with a jeep thats a 5spd, try to learn on it (they are the easiest to learn on).

Swap a 5 speed in there. Trust me after about 2-6 hours in your car after it's done you will not have any problems. TRUST ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not worth swapping.
Suck it up,sell your car,buy a 5spd!

Then get back to us.

This question can be answered by a simple thing called research....but short answer...

If you get a b16,get an Ls tranny. That might be the easiest to find and will match up with your b16.In case you do not know, when i say LS tranny,it is the tranny from a 94-01 Integra LS.
