Default Transmission Housing

We just got Jae's transmission bolted in....

Went to torque the bolts at the engine, and the housing is cracked...

So for the bell housing, is it just bolts that connects it to the main transmission housing? Or do I need special tools? We are going to drop the tranny back out and change housings if we can....

This has been one heartache after another....

Plus he has a tranny mount missing that I have at my parents, so we will have to go get that today also... And a tranny mount broke yesterday....

Whatever we did wrong in our lives, we are paying for it now...

Changing out housings is a BEOCH (from my experience). It's not a quick thing either. Look at the DIY swaggs and I did: https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...d.php?t=139802
This will help you find all the bolts and see how it connects. Hope you get it figured out.

As I should have stated at the top, this was me posting as Jae since I am doing the swap...

I have now removed all of the bolts for the bell housing, and it comes up about an inch from the rest of the housing, and then stops, is there something I am missing here??

This is turning out to be not as much fun as first anticipated...

Wasn't sure what all you'd need so this might be overkill. Better too much than not enough.

hih guys.

Thanks for the pics man, but on the auto tranny, I dont see the 32mm Sealing Bolt...

The only bolt that has the 3/8" drive drop in it is the drain bolt....
