we aren't talking about a swapped 2000 pound hatch, we're talking about a 2500 pound coupe. You will NEVER hit a high 13 with just a itr/ctr swap in your car. I doubt you can even pull a low 14, a stock ITR doesn't even pull a low 14, what makes you think the motor in your coupe is going to be any better. In any case i doubt a STOCK itr dynoes 172 whp. A stock obd 1 gsr only dynos about 140. And 3rd you are just a retard if it costs you more than 5 grand to put together a b20 turbo setup. A b20 motor should cost you maybe 1300, a gsr tranny for 700. That's 2000+3000 for a revhard/drag 3/fmax turbo kit. And don't even try and tell me a stock b20 won't hold 10 psi stock.

i thought u were refering to a hatch...anyhow stock itr whp is 170+ all the time...here is a dyno hitting 176 all stock

and if u think a b20 can run 10psi u just go ahead and do it because that is just stupid...and the whole ****n! point of this thread is that i am going jdm itr motor fits the jdm class a little more than a b20 foo...maybe someday ill take itr and build it for turbo...

there is no way a ctr, itr motor in a usdm civic will hit anywhere near low-mid13s...sh!t i bet it wont even do high 13s...i would say low 14s.

I wasn't talking about JDM class...i could really care less about jdm...if that's your cup of tea, go for it. But someone said that a CTR motor in a coupe would be fast and i was just saying for the money you could be WAY faster. And yes b20 can handle 10 psi easily....hell a bunch of sohc ppl are running 10 psi with good fuel tuning. Do some research before you post.....cause evidentily you think 250+ whp is "stupid" probably cause it isn't JDM

Even in a 2100 pound hatch you wouldn't be able to hit a low 13. I'd say a mid to high 13 at best....

I agree with crucialSI
In a coupe you'd be lucky to hit a low 14

even in a h/b youd run a low 14 if they do high 14s in there "original" car WTF is so special after you swap it into your US car.....nothing.

well that's not true....i think a itr is over 2500 pounds cause a gsr is like 2600-2700 i think. When you stick the motor in a 2000-2100 pound gutted hatch that will make a big power to weight ratio difference which is why i said a mid to high 13 at best instead of a low 14.

im not talking about a gutted car. im just saying swiching motors from the japan counterpart wont do sh!t for you except to run the same as them..(b16b in a 6th gen HB)

if you are worried about 1/4 times build an LS/vtec..can get into the high 13s with little work and alot cheaper than a b16b by a long shot
