well i got the turbo on, new custom exhaust system, the whole bit. sunday it gets a street tune witha wideband and a laptop. gonna keep it conservative to be safe.

now im looking toward suspension. i dont have the money yet for the shocks and springs i want. so i was thinking about making my own strut bars. which would be a better i dea, tie them into the struts, or drill two holes where they sit behind the struts.
and last, anyone use an H-brace? ive talked too a few people that have them and said there is a noticable difference. any one have personal experience with one

Strut bars are nothing compaired to aftermarket springs, shocks/struts, or anti-roll ("sway") bars. If you want them, just drop a few bucks on ebay specials or save until you can afford good ones.

That said, my $178 pair of strut bars was delivered today. h:

Agreed. Worry about a stiffer spring and better shocks and then worry about the accessories like sway and strut bars.

I am strut bar free, so they aren't necessary to have great handling. I do, however, have a 22mm rear sway/tie bar with a nice set of springs/shocks.

Let me know how the tune goes, since I am in the process of tuning mine. Are you running uberdata?
