vx redline is 6k rpm, peak power is 92 crank at 5.5k rpm. Fuel cutoff is somewhere around 6.4k rpm. Its damn near impossible to tell when the vtec switch-over is.

damn thats like 70 whp or so....atleast it isnt a cx:fawk: but you probably get great gas mileage

on vtec-e I don't think vtec is like a powerband on regular vtec engines. I think its more like an economical mode.

clean ride though. what're you doing with the vx wheels?

3 levels of adjustability in VTEC down tuned for economy. less aggressive knobs. that 3 level bit may have been intro with the CVT later on in the 6th gen era though, im not sure.

im putting full race slicks on 2 of them, and selling 2 of them to my friend, and he's gonna do the same =)


its dropped 2.25 inches (neuspeed race springs)
shocks are tokico blue's

First level runs up to 3000 RPMS, and the engine only uses three valves... 1 intake, 2 exhaust. Promotes better swirl and gives much better gas milage. Next two stages are conventional.

thats for the vx motor?!?!?! whats the engine code? and i thought the only engine to have the 3 stage vtec was the d15b
