Default quick intake question

ok juss needa quick response...can this cold air intake system become/work as a short ram too??

Why would you buy a cai to use as a sri when it cost more?

looks like an ebay intake. probably won't fit either way. but if you must, you can leave the lower section off and put the filter on it.

you might have to trim the pipe as well.

if it came in two parts I guess, but why would you??? If you are worried about water just get a bypass valve

yes its from ebay, its for my LX, and i just wanted to kno if i would be able to use it as a short ram for heavy rainy days.

My question is ,why wouldn't you be able to.Honestly think,what differemce is it gonna make if you cut the pipe?
IMO Intakes are a waste of good cash.Make your own and get about the same gain and save some $$$.

The only way you can suck up water into your intake is if you submerge the filter. Which means you drove into a lake. Which means you shouldn't be driving a car.
