i put racing seats in my civic and i went to a speed shop and they made me new brackets and even installed the factory seat belt to the new seat.

hmm so i could take off the old brackets and sliders and weld/bolt a couple bars across the bottom of the new seat and bolt the old stuff to the new stuff. Sound good.
