Throttle body spacers don't do anything. Save your money for something that works.

DON'T GET A THROTTLE BODY SPACER! It is my biggest regret with my car. I got the Helix Power Tower spacer on clearance for $40 and I still regret it. The worst thing about it is that it makes the most annoying sound when it gets 10-25% throttle. It whistles constantly on the freeway while I cruise and it sounds similar to an old VW bug's exhaust. It isn't bad when racing through the gears becuase it sounds kind of like a turbo but daily driving sucks. I am taking it off once I get a new gasket.

PS: I will sell you my spacer for $30 if you still want one.

Default gas savings?

Is there any fuel consumption improvement? Does anyone know of a mod that will help with fuel gulping especially on long commutes?

Yes there is a mod. It's called slow down and avoid rapid acceleration.

That helix sounds like a turbo, but I'd never know if people hear it, or if it sounds like one to other cars lololol. I got it for $40 clearance from Summit.

well I sold my spacer on ebay for $40 so I luckily broke even. I hated that sound and it wasnt exactly a turbo (especially since it was only the sound). Everybody that rode in my car was like "wtf is that gay sound?" It kinda sounded like a vacuum leak.
