2000 Si Civic head work
I just picked up a super clean 2000, but it has a burnt valve and no compression on cylinder 2. I am pretty sure it was due to neglect concerning oil changes.
First, is this something I should just rebuild, or should I just be looking for another head? I have not seen alot of this head around (B16 I believe) and can probably rebuild the head.
Any suggestions? I got a screamin' deal on this car and cant really say what I paid for it, but either way, I win. What should I do about this head?

Well, I just called the local dealer.
Parts breakdown: (dealer costs)
exhaust valve: $42.84
intake valve: $29.06
valve spring: $13.20
retainer: $5.10
head gasket: $88.58 (just in case)
exhaust gasket: $15.18 (just in case)
I need to find a couple of these parts cheaper like the head gasket. Where, who, how much?

Yeah, I agree with you.
