Default Best suspension set up for 2000 si civic?

Hey this is my first post and i was wonderin if you guys could help me out on a question i have...Im thinkin bout puttin 18's on my 1.6 vti coupe civic and i want a good suspension setup as well.I want the ride to be fairly comfortable because the roads here in Ireland aren't the best and Im doin 50 miles a day!
Also what is the advantage of gettin adjustable suspension and does this come in the form of coilovers?
Cheers

18s are retarded on a civic...espicially one you want a comfortable ride....16s and a good set of shocks/springs for a daily driver

first of all calm down. even if its for hatchbacks they are the same thing. there is tons of info on suspension. and like stated earlier, having 18s on ur civic is retarded, get some nice 15s or 16s with a good set of coilovers or spring/shock combo. a real good set on the market right now at a affordable price is the omni coilovers.

Right fair enough but how can they be the same thing a dohc vtec engine is heavier than an sohc vtec engine for example. And if it's heavier then you're obviously going to need different suspension to compensate for the weight, yes??

the difference in weight of the engines is negligible if its for a daily driver, some good coilovers and shocks is all you need

You know for someone you just registered on here, that's just plain stupid of what you said. I suggested and didn't flame you for being a newbie to search around. If you took it the wrong way, I apologize. But as you can see, people are posting on this thread that you started to help you out. If you take every post so critically as critcism, I would suggest then that you would not post at all.
oh yea and watch you language.
