Default Rubbing Problem

I have 17X7 rims with 40 series tires with my car lowered a couple of inches. I have been having problems with the back tires rubbing around corners at high speeds, so I installed a camber kit and had it aligned, now only the back right side does it. I thought that the alignment was still off so I had the alignment checked by the dealer and they said that it was right on. Im wondering what Im doing wrong because I have seen delsols with 18's and haven't heard them complain about rubbing. What can I do to remedy this?

Try to get your fenders rolled, that might help... oh, that is if it's the fender being rubbed.

I had the same problem with my 17's... I sold em and got 15's. Better power transfer anyway!

Do you still have the back wheel splash gaurds on? Mine were taken out to allow for more room and I have no problem. I still have the front ones though, but I have no rubbing problem on 17's 205/40 tires and lowered about 2". I also think that a sway bar and strut bar setup would improve your sols handling in the turns too. It would decrease body roll and flex which in turn may reduce the chance of the tires rubbing in the turns.

I do have my sway bars and rear strut bar too. I haven't tried rolling my fenders, but I will give it a try. I dont think that I want to get smaller rims, I already have a set of 18 inch Racing Hart C5's, and I want to fix the rubbing problem before I get tires and try putting them on, plus I like a little tucking action. Thanx again for all the input!
