Default UPgrading ECU help

I have a 92 civic with a d16z6 swap and am running a P06 ecu on it. I would like to upgrade very soon, but I cannot seem to find a good deal anywhere. I really dont have that much money, so could I just chip the P06 and get the same result as if I would if I got a chipped p28? If anyone could help me, or point me in the right direction that would be great. (Like a write up on a topic like this) Thanks

all you need is a stock obd1 p28 unless the engine is heavily modified.

we chipped a po5 (CX) ecu, and are running it on a ls/vtec/turbo integra.. why buy a different one?

What gains are you expecting from changing your ecU??

Would you trust someone from a junkyard who wants you to pay $120 for a used p28?

not worth it... seriously.. so your ecu is already chipped then? Because you are running a non vtec ecu with a d16z6? So serioulsy just buy a ems and tune your car.. what is the point of buying a new ecu???? arggg your killing me!
