i think if im gonna swap, im gonna do a b16 because its less work to worry bout the wiring than a b18

it's the same thing! they're both b series engines.. in my opinion get a B18B (best bang for the money)... b16s are torqueless pieces of crap..

But, you get what you pay for, and the price of the B16 reflects that. But on the other hand, it is superior to any D-series hunk of shit.

Dont wanna sound like a dick but honestly in your case if your you dont know what a LSD tranny is i dont think your gonna be able to do the swap in your garage with a couple of friends sum tools and and a few jacks (I mean Limited slip is a pretty common term for basic auto knowledge)...... Wire a nonvtec car to vtec is pretty difficult. But yes a b-series into a civic (bolting up wise) is not extreamly hard with proper tools knowledge.

uhh i know what a limited slip diff is i just didnt know what LSD ment that, my car is also vtec already so that nnot a problem.


also, anyone have any good sites where to buy the motor from? ive looked at passwordjdm, but if possible anything cheaper?

what does 1st gen 2nd gen have to do with it?

is the part of the obd1 have to do with the ecu or something else?

A B16a has the least torque of all the B series but bec. of its R/S ratio it will last the longest.
