Default Drivers Side Door Wont Lock With Alarm Turned On

:confused: I HAVE A 98 CIVIC DX 2DR THAT WHEN I PUSH THE REMOTE TO LOCK MY DOORS, MY DRIVERS SIDE WONT LOCK. IT SEEMS LIKE IT IS STUCK OR SOMETHING. DOES ANYBODY KNOW ABOUT THIS?

did you check:

1: keyless entry solenoid (if it still works)
2: wiring to alarm brain (check for cuts in wire)

CHECK FOR:

It is prolly the power lock solenoid. i am havin trouble with mine. Either it tries to lock 6 times rapidly then doesn't, or it sounds like it locked and did not.

Where Is The Powerlock Solenoid?

that would be in the door. It powers the lock, I do not know exactly what it looks like, but it should be easy to spot

I have a drivers lock actuator. oem if youre interested. it has the connector cut off but you could solder on the one from yours if its malfunctioning. let me know if youre interested.
