Default How to replace Side Mirrors

Hi,

I need to replace passanger side outside door mirror w/o power on my 2004 honda civic. Do I need to take out the door panel. Any help is appreciated.

Did you try a search.This should be basic and fairly simple thing to do.

pop the triangle piece off that is on the inside next to the mirror. There are three screws that hold it on, and youre done.

I did it w/o removing the door panel. There are 3 8mm nuts that need to be removed. it was kind of hard with the panel on, but since I have small hands I got it to work.

you should remove the door panel so that you dont damage it. its really simple. take out 8 screws, disconnect the speaker, pop the clips and lift it out. youll kick yourself if you ruin the vinyl or crack the panel trying to take shortcuts.
