It would be helpful if people would just take the information givin & offer ideas concerning the facts that are stated in the thread vs. goin on about stuff that isn't even involved.
TPS = tested & working fine
Andy.. I'm not using any type of computerized fuel managment as of yet, i'm still using my FMU. There for being that it doesn't sence positive pressure with the charge pipes, it doesn't close off my return & my fuel regulation stays normal. I disconnected the charge pipes origionaly to see if it was boost related and found that it wasn't.
Back to the problem at hand, while driving, i have to shift at near 2000 rpm, if i attempt to go above this, the car boggs ridiculously & wants to die, if i continue to shift to the next gear at that point it will allow me to get somewhere, but on my way home from work i purposly went the long way instead of taking the highway coz i knew that i wouldn't be able to keep up with the speed of traffic.
The car is idling just as it has been but when i attempt to rev it or get on the gas under driving conditions it just wants to fall flat on it's face.
looking for more suggestions & or ideas...

Try disconnecting the FMU (I'm guessing a boost dependant one) and just run the OE FPR and see what happens (at least eliminate that as a cause). Maybe a compression test and double check everything in the ignition system (cap, rotor, plugs, wires). My coupe developed a miss and all my tools are over at the place I work under my clip. I finally got over there to figure out what it was and it turns out my plug wires were coming apart (tired to pull #1 and only got the top of the actual boot).

Do what Andy Says and if thats not it try looking at your ECU. A Guy I know spent a month trying to diagnose his car. He said it would leave hard and fall flat on its face. Turned out his ECU was bad.
