Look up a U.S. Del Sol motor...that is what it is. They average around $2500 for a complete changeover.

$2500 is reasonable. It is OBD1.
B16A2's are OBD2 from the 99-00 Si.

i guess i'm a little late but in reference to the S2000 conversion, I have seen several tail/headlight conversions and the majority have been done poorly for the most part. The biggest reason being because people don't take the time to think ahead of time with their initial investment.
"ricer a" will go to junkyard or purchase equipment from eBay and think, hey i can just take these to a shop and pay the guy $1500 to fit them and life will be good. Wrong. Doing a conversion encompasses the idea of transplanting the tails (and their mounts etc) to another vehicle not just the lights themself. I have spoken with several shops and the majority of them will not even touch a conversion unless the head/taillight is purchased along with surrounding fenders so they can be welded in properly. You may spend more in parts but you will definitely cut down in labor costs/bondo headaches.
What happens when you need to replace a cracked tail, or even get to a bulb. Jerry-rig up your conversion and you will have nothing but a headache on your hands. Problems with seals/water getting in trunks etc. are all factors.
It kind of reminds me of when i did my interior and people told me just to dye the panels and shhit. I went against them and had my stuff rewrapped. It costed more initially but i watched other people chip/scratch/re-dye(paint) their interiors and have to go thru all that trouble.
Don't be a riceboy and get a complete conversion if you want to do it right. If you dont' give a crap and you're never gonna drive the car, or no one's ever gonna see your work, just do it the crapo way.
Don't get me wrong, there's people that have done perfect conversions using bondo/fiberglass without buying the fenders allong with the light (laying fiberglass and bondo can be made as strong as a weld job) but it probably costed them as much if not more in labor than it would have costed had the person simply purchased some metal.
i don't kno much about goin fast, but i can speak some show fag words of advice.
