best cams for b-16a ?

Default best cams for b-16a ?

i'm gonna buy a b16a for my eg coupe daily driver. I'll mill the head (anyone know how much to mill to get around 11.0 compression?), light porting, itr intake, 4-1 header, what cams do you guys runs/recommend? any hp #'s?

I really like the Buddy Club Racing Spec III camshafts (despite their silly name :chuckles: ) because they seem to show consistent increase in torque across the whole powerband (including below vtec), and peter out about where stock cams do. They seem to be a good match for reasonable compression levels. Although they don't really increase peak power output much, they do wonders for the whole powerband. Give me a minute and I'll try and dig up a dyno sheet.

you can't see it so well, but this may be helpful. :edit: the blue one is BC spec 3, the purple is Skunk 2 stage 2, and the red one is OEM CTR, if I'm reading it properly.

:edit: :edit: this one has torque readings too
