Default cleaning fuel injectors

the fuel injectors on the 93 civic ex are dirty. i'm not much of a mechanic at all , but i thought i might change that and try to clean them myself. i read up some stuff online, but if anyone can give me pointers, instructions, links, whatnot, it would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, i'm going to try and explain this as simply as possible... DO NOT USE SHIT YOU DUMP IN THE GAS TANK. That stuff is extremly harmful to the o-rings that seal your injectors and causes major problems. The only real surefire way to really clean the injectors out would be using an actual injector cleaner, it's a tool and when you disable the fuel pump runs the car directly from a special tank full of cleaning solution cleans the injectors throughly. I would not reccomend any of that autozone or any auto parts injector cleaner as it will only cause massive problems in the long run.

Seafoam is ok...but you want to watch it becuase when you seafoam an engine all the debris and carbon that came out of your dirty head and engine go directly into your cat...then you have another problem!

i wish i had this diy tutorial, but it basically shows how to clean them yourself...
from what i remember, you open the injectors by wiring them to a AA battery and then while its openin pour fuel injector cleaner through them...
bah i can't find it
