Only the ex has vtec. If you want a lot of torque, get a b20. Other than that, you need to put out a pretty penny for more power.

HX has vtec.

Someone's being a technicality pest.

The HX has VTEC-E, so yes, it has VTEC.

However, if you follow the context of the thread it's quite obvious that everyone is talking about the performance oriented VTEC... aka the high RPM cam lobes activated by VTEC. Conversational context cannot be ignored.

"Trim" in your case means: DX, LX, EX, Si, HX, CX... which one?

it is indeed an EX my clues..it has a y8 and also the door handles are not black.

An EX huh?

Are you even flooring it and revving past 5.5k rpm? If not, you have no need for any power mods because you aren't even using your current car's stock potential.
