Do you think if I get the CTR's I will get pulled over for the headlights being too bright?

usually cops won't pull you over JUST because your lights seem bright. from their point of view, they'll probably think your lights are poorly aimed or something (which pretty much is true). however, if you get pulled over for speeding or something, they might bring it up.

one time a bicycle cop downtown asked me if my brights were on, but other than that, I never had any problems like that. just other drivers.

sidenote: my SiR inner housings finally came in today. the plan is to paint them gunmetal, take appart my lights again, and put it all back together  psuedo-ctr's with the DOT light reflector

If you get HID's in there without projectors, they will be more likely to say something. They will flood everything in front of you with light

This is what someone from another forum said about the CTR's not having the inner housings:
That "thing" is built into the bulb. Haven't you ever replaced a bulb in your car?
So I show him a pic of my car with the inner housing circled and this is what he says:
The CTR's pictured DO NOT HAVE A BULB IN THEM
WTF is he talking about?

LOL. The BMW transformer plugs directly into a Mitsubishi Mirage wiring harness. Same plugs and everything. We've got HID's for high beams on the '91 Mirage hatch project. It was a bolt on including the headlight housings. Hilarious. I have video but no room to host it.
