try the rear bucket seats in a porsche 944. literaly one foot of room behind the front seats.. lol the civic is hue in the back.
also the hatchies are a little bit lighter than the coupe and much lighter than a 4 door
does hatchies make a difference in lightness compare to coupe or 4 doors?
depending on what you are trying to get out of the car. if your racing autocross every little ounce counts. and there is quite a difference between a hatch and a 4 door
then definately get waht fits your taste if you really like the 4 door get that one if you really like the hatch go with it. just get a car that suits you not one that someone else says is the best.
i just want the best civic in the safety category... i'm not using it for racing or anyhting like that
safety? Any sub-2400lb car with drum brakes is a tin can compared to everything else on the road no matter how many doors it has. It will lose in a crash-up derby. However, civics are totally harmless when used in accordance with state laws.
If you add a roll cage, racing seats/belts and still keep it under 2400lbs, I'll eat my words. That would fly as a safe car in my book.
my coupe serves me good... used to have a 4 door, but i love the 2 door better cause i can get in with more room because the doors bigger, and its my passengers that have to duct and go to the back, not me. and its alot lighter than a 4 door! passengers dont pay me gas and my girl always sits in the shotgun . its the best of both worlds!!
