Default Lowering Springs Advice Needed

I'm trying to lower my 96 civic ex, I've been lookin at the Eibach pro-kits because i don't have the cash right now to replace the stock struts. Are they're any other similar kits of about 1.5" inches or so drop? I've priced the Eibachs at about $200, anywhere i can get those or a similar product cheaper? Thanks, I need all the help and input i can get, cant stand making an un-informed buying decision

search around the forums...you should be able to find a good deal somewhere. i would off you mine for a lot let, but im not sure they would fit a 96 and they are also a 2.3" drop. eibachs i would say are the best bang for your buck. always remember you get what you pay for. its nice to not pay that much, but cheaping out all the time isnt a good idea....especially when it comes to suspension. good luck to you.

I have H&R OEM sports from Tirerack. They only lower about 1.5" and cost $156. I use them with Bilsteins and I've used them with KYB GR-2's so they should be fine for stock struts.

The stuff I'm pulling up says the H&R sports are gonna result in about 1.8 inches, and I'm still kinda sketched out bout them blowing my stock struts. I cant afford new struts right now either. Are suspension techniques anything to talk bout, they offer a nice lil 1.3-1.5 drop like the eibachs, on paper theyre right what im looking for. Any thoughts on suspension techniques springs??

Just a FYI, you car has Shocks not struts, they may look simular to struts but they do not perform the same duty as struts, so they are shocks, factory coil-over shocks

i have suspension techniques springs that have a 2.3" drop in the front and 2" drop in the rear. those are the ones i would offer you but looks like your looking for something a little less. i have them on stock shocks and havent had any problems. they ride real nice as a matter of fact.
