Car getting hot
Well I’ve replaced the Thermostat two times thinking that was the problem.
First time thinking that my original thermo that came with the car went out. Second replacing what I thought was a bad AutoZone Thermostat with a Honda one.
After a week of normal operation my car is getting hot again.
My dad is thinking my fan isn't coming on all the time.
What do you guys think could be the problem?
Also does anyone know if there is a section in the Honda factory manual to test relays? I want to test my fan relay that sits in the fuse box.

Does it get hot more at a idle position or when ur driving...also is there any smoke coming out your exhaust....Also are you buying aftermarket thermostats...cus if so that could be your problem as those arent that good...its best to go straight OEM in terms of Thermostat buying
It gets hot after I've driving for 35 miles and then when I get to first stop it gets really hot. Then it dumps all the coolant out into the reservoir and I have to turn on my heat to get it to go down and then can’t make any long stops.
What I don't understand is how it works fine for a week and then starts acting up again. It may have a relation to the temp. outside as well. Since each time its been a warmer day then what it has been and by warmer I'm saying up 50s as opposed to 30-40.
I get a little smoke from driving but not much, not constant smoke that I know of.

Lazy way:
When your car is cold, start it with the AC off, let it idle and warm all the way up. See if your fan ever cuts on. if it doesn't cut on, it could be either your fan or the thermostat switch.
Non-lazy way:
If you just ground the thermostat switch wire, the fan should come on. If you ground it and it doesn't come on, get someone to watch the temperature gauge on the dash while you ground it to make sure you're grounding the right thermostat switch. If the gauge pegs hot, ground the other switch. I forgot which is which...
Fan cuts on: bad thermo switch
Fan sits still: Bad fan/bad wiring.
EDIT: Fan works normally: bad thermostat, bad head gasket or low coolant.
If you have to replace the switch, don't forget to top off your coolant and burp all the air out afterwards.
