its not that im racing her its the fact that hills and places where more torque or hp would def help out. na mean. its just nice sometimes to just have a little power im not trying to really push more then 230whp anyway. just to clear things up. im not a racer i did my speeding days when i was younger. way to many tickets and points. ive learned to slow down. thats y i have a honda and that is how i got into the scene.

hope i cleared things up!!

why would you really need more hp/torque if the engine you have is quite capable of going up and down those hills? honestly i think your doing this whole ordeal for the wrong reasons....

why not just keep your GREAT gas milage instead of swapping or turbo? do yourself a favor, make your car just a cruising car, if another honda passes that you know has a swap, just smile at them, knowing that they probably dont have A/C cuz they pulled it

well what ever you do goodluck to ya, read up on more things, there is tons of threads on this stuff in this site, just search for it, swapping or turbo no matter what you do will cost you. fast and cheap dont usually go side by side, and fast and realiable diffinately isnt cheap

D series blows thats a fact!!! Why does honda even bother using em?
:eh: so your saying that all of them suck? just because u have the dud motor, y7, doesnt mean that d suck. bbka runs a 12.6 in his on stock internals and tons og guys run very low 13's. so you can spend your money on a b and run 14's/13's or turbo the d and run 13's and also spend less. your comment had no real fact, just bullshit

hey even the y7 has potential. i know a guy, scott, running a stock y7, y8 IM, with a wrx 13g turbo running 12psi making 192whp and 186wtq daily driven. has been for quite some time too.

now come on, tell me you wouldn't have a bit of fun with that hp and tq in a dx chassis

na the d series is aight i luv my car just want a little extra power. I passed up on a gsr when i first got my car b/c i loved good mileage. i luv body style of the car i drive and i always have since it came out. i came from a jeep grand cherokee to a 4 cyl econo car. haha power is not how it used to be na mean but the gas is.

see those d series numbers above are perfect. i don't really need much more then 200 hp. im not trying to win money at the tracks just a little bit more power while still maintaining good mileage.

yah. 170-190whp in a civic chassis is ALOT of fun, safe, and obtainable for relatively cheap with FI
