Thanks for all the advice averyone. I'm just gonna get a 17mm socket and use a breaker bar. Worked for me when I've done axles. Might borrow a friend's impact. I'll have to get a Helms manual, and use my Hayes to soak up oil! Does the Helms tell you what size the bolts are?

I tried to use a breaker bar, and i started to move the car before the bolt was movin thats how stuck on it was :S

Helm's manual says 185 Nm, 134 lbft or 18.5 kgm page 6-58.

hahah. 134.. not even close to 500ft/lbs

i'd suggest emptying a can of pb blaster, wd-40, shop solve on it. any of those will help loosen any gritty rust. let them soak in for quite some time if you can.

also DON"T use an extension if at all possible. you lose ALOT of power with an extension. the bolt on this y8 block i bought doesn't even need a deep socket. just a regular shorty. also besure to use a 6point not a 12point socket. you get better grip with a 6point.
