be careful i did the same swap and got sttuck with the coolant tube on the back of the motor. My D15 had two nipples on the back while the D16 has only one. you have to swap the tube over from the D15 to the D16. you don't have to change NE thing else, it should work with the OBDI computer, the crank sensor is unused. you should change over the intake and exhaust manifolds, and i realized that i should have kept the D15 trans: has shorter gears (better accel.) but u don't care about that.

I know this is kind of old thread but I am doing the same thing dropping in a d16y7 to a 93 civic dx hatch and i was wondering a few things that dont match up. first one is that the wire plugs from my d15b7 are too tall to fit in the d16 I was figuring that i needed to get new wires that fit the d16y7 but they would plug into the d15. second like 93TurboD said that there are a couple extra holes on the d15 and don't go anywhere to the d16 i don't know what they are and if i could some how plug them if they only provide vacuum. I'm trying to do this the easiest and cheapest way possible I am not very experienced but i have people who are a lot more experienced than i am so i have help but they don't know about this specific problem. Any help would be appreciated.
