Default Slave Cylinder Replacement

I need to replace my slave cylinder, but I'm wondering about brands.
Are slave cylinders like clutches? Where spending money to get a better one pays off in the long run? Or should I just get the cheapy store brand?

Depends on the price difference. IMHO, OEM is just not worth it when comes to stuff like this. A while back, I got a Slave and Master for about $90 bucks. I believe the slave alone was like $40. I had it for 2+ years and it never gave me trouble.

Anybody have any bright ideas on how to get a rounded bolt out? Tried heat and PB, but they didn't work.
I'm going to get a bolt extractor kit, see if that works.

It's one of the 2 bolts holding the slave to the bell housing.

ah, bolt extractor, and be very careful. Cracking the case isn't all that hard to do.

Got the bolt extractor set today, but do you really think that I could crack the bell housing by taking out a stuck bolt?
