the y8 is OBD2 also, so the D15 might be better for ya wiring wise. also id called hmotors and ask them if they have d16ZC.

edit: just read u have a shop doing it for ya

D16Y8 - 127hp@6600 107ft/lbs@5500 - CR-9.6:1 - SOHC VTEC - OBD2 - from the 1996-2000 Civic EX
the Y8 requires rewiring the engine harness to get to work in your civic.

JDM D15B - 130hp@6800 102ft/lbs@5200 - CR-9.6:1 - SOHC VTEC- OBD1or2 - from the 1991-1999 Civic VTi (EG4)

for the price I'd go with a D16Z6.
D16Z6 - 125hp@6600 106ft/lbs@5200 - CR-9.2:1 SOHC VTEC - OBD1 - from the 1992-1995 Civic EX/Si/Del Sol Si
due to the better after market support and turbo ability for the future.

D15 would go into that car like cake if that's what you are asking.

you're going to have them put two engines in your civic???? or are you going to price both?

BTW the D16Z6 or D15B swaps are two of the easiest swaps to do into a 95. If you have some tools and mechanical ability, do it yourself and save a ton of money. money better spent on mods.

The D16Z6 with give you less grief. The D15B requires a PO8 ECU and some of the coolant lines need to be moved around. Also make sure you are getting the 130HP SOHC VTEC and not the Civic ETI's 100HP (give or take a couple HP) SOHC VTEC-E (which requires eve more changes to work exactly right). There are also two 130HP versions of the D15B. One of them carries the rare 3 stage VTEC valvetrain.
