coilover question

over time and use, the springs will "settle" or sink some, so they wont be as tall as they were when you first got them.

Mine have settled a good bit, probably a good inch or so.

all of them can, and any brand can do it.

Just like in Nascar, a spring can settle, no matter how alike it is to the others, and make you disqualified for your car being to low.

swaggs, what would you suggest i get? the full omnipower coilover for $630, or the omnipower coilover sleeves + kyb agx's for about $520? and why. thanks

true to some degree. Some manufacturers have strict regulations on sagging springs. H/R, Eibach, TEIN to name some. Not sure what their standards are, but at least they warranty their stuff.


SKUNK2 is made in Taiwan. They are prone to sag.

very true, but I like them a lot. The corner great, and match the color of my car

Plus, this will get all of my good stuff out of the salt in the winter.

It is all personal preference.

Personally, I would not get either of those combinations, but you may like the options they bring to the table.

Personally I would spend the extra $200 and get KONI yellows and GC or Skunk2 Coilovers. That would be what I would do, but it is your ride, you have to do some research and decide what setup is best for your wallet and the setup you want to achieve someday.
