Default radiator support

ok i got all the bolts off the radiator support but it wouldnt come off but then i found out that the damn thing is glued on to the fender supports how the hell do i get it off with out cutting it or is cutting it the only way....?

I had to replace my radiator support because it was bent. There is about 100 spot welds that need to be drilled out. they make a special drill bit for this.

ok then i got a few questions.....
where can i get the drill bit? and what size is it? or what is it called?...
how would i know where all the spot welds are ??

By looking at it you can see all of the little indentations made by the spot welder. I used a chisle and knocked off the core support. I ended up just drilling holes and mounting the core with self tapping screws. Not very strong I'm sure.

Not sure what the drill is actually called. But you could probably use a larger drill bit and center it in the spot-just go deep enough to release the panel.

When I swapped my radiator support I used the following:

1. Titanium Drill bits (something that can punch through metal)
2. Grinder (to clean up the metal shavings)
3. Welder (to weld on the new rad support)

Hope that helps...

You can pick up that stuff at any home depot, lowes, or automotive stores.

i got it off thanks all i needed was a hammer and grinder i beat the hell out that thing but thanks for the input
