Armrest and longer shifter ok on the hatchbacks?

Default Armrest and longer shifter ok on the hatchbacks?

well one thing I notice is the shifter is way down there and a pain, so I like to make it higher but with and arch, were can i get one? Also can I get an armrest from a civic coupe and install it in my hatcback cx civic without special mods?

You may have to get a shifter specially made. Usually people want them shorter for a more controlled and precise shift. I've never seen a long aftermarket shifter so I'm thinking you may have to get one fabricated.

Not sure about the armrest from a coupe.

actually quite a few of the "road race" shifters are longer to accomodate the drivers hand not leaving the steering wheel for long, i'll try to find a link.

I couldnt find the link bud, I just looked at it last week.. because I was gonna order something from the company , but I cant find the website now.


It would be too long for you, but it was an example of a "longer" civic shifter.

you can also buy aftermarket armrests from honda. bolt right in place i have one in my hatch and its nice
