I just got this civic cx HB and noticed when i hit pot holes or whatever the steering wheel pushes to the side and I don't recall that on my crx unless this cars are just made different or I need an alignment? taking the car tommorrow to get the code read and change the oil andi think it might need an alignment

Sounds like a need for an alignment to me. Definitely have that inspected before opting for an alignment. Let the mechanic be the judge. Do you have to move the steering wheel back or does it move back in place on its own?
