Default Exhaust question (help!)

Hi. I've got a good deal on the DC Sport TCS Exhaust System for my 01 civic. My concern is that the exhaust system was used on 01 civic EX, and I have the LX. The guy that sells it told me that it needs just a minor modification. What do I need to do to make it fit my LX? Do you guys know how much will it cost me to get it completely installed? Thanks in advance.

it will be easier to just get the whole EX exhaust system. just the an EX header and an EX cat. those will make the exhaust fit without any modifications. your cat is attached to the exhaust manifold and the EX manifold doesnt. i would wait till i get those before i put the exhaust on.

This is the whole catback exhaust system. It's being shipped to me recently. Did you mean to get an aftermarket header for an EX? Just a small reminder: I have an LX.

i know, just get an aftermarket header for an EX and a highflow or a stock cat for an EX, thats how the exhaust system that you're getting will fit on your car without any modification. if you keep your LX manifold you're going to have to lengthen the mid-pipe to make it to the downpipe. the EX exhaust system is too short for the LX to put it in simple terms.

So how much will it cost me to take it to a muffler-shop and make them install it?
